ELAN RDC along with local and international partners recently launched a national renewable energy marketing campaign to educate the Congolese public on the many benefits of solar products, including significant savings benefits (~$8 month/household).
The six-month national campaign will make use of radio, television, billboards, banners and a roadshow. Through March, the campaign’s first phase will focus on general awareness. The second phase, running into June, will focus more on the commercial aspect and will feature a roadshow targeting 12 major cities and towns: Kinshasa, Mbanza Ngungu, Mbadanka, Gemena, Lubumbashi, Kolwezi, Likasi, Kisangani, Butembo, Goma, Kivu and Uvira.
The campaign is supported by local and international solar companies, including many current ELAN partners: Altech, Bboxx, d.light, Devsolaire, Ecomwinda, Kit4Africa, Proton, SunKing and Total. Please enjoy the TV ad currently running in DRC.
