KACCO (Kalehe Arabica Coffee Cooperative) is a Coffee Producers Cooperative located at Kalehe, Territory of South Kivu. The cooperative is made up of 2,064 coffee-growers, including 548 women, 27% of whom are located in 15 branches (Munanira, Burhimano, Fazili, Kafunzi, Mushenye, where the washing station is installed, Nyacibingu, Cigera, Rambira, Bushushu, Nyamukubi, Lushebere and Nyabirehe, Kanenge, Ishovu Island and finally Idjwi.

Objectives of ELAN’s Partnership

This intervention financed by Elan and jointly organized with the collaboration of Equity Bank aims to facilitate access to financing of coffee farmers through appropriate financial education and micro-credits to enable them to increase their autonomy and their understanding of banks' financial services.
